Airtight Container Will My Pear ''go Brown'' In An Airtight Container In The Fridge?

Will my pear ''go brown'' in an airtight container in the fridge? - airtight container

Ive just started to eat a pear, half way through. And I want more.
I want to eat later, but if I was in the refrigerator in an airtight container for, say, 3 hours would be, Brown, like an apple?

Yes, it will still eat after cutting the brown part. To reduce the oxidation (if you ask, can for the next time maybe) you in a zip-lock bag with enough water to cover and put a few drops of lemon juice. It is customary to stop completely hidden, but much more slowly.

Yes, unless you fill the container with an inert gas such as helium or nitrogen.

I think I heard that somewhere a little lemon juice to prevent from Browning. But then I could taste the lemon, I know, I've never tried it.

Probly because there is still air left in the container. It is better to properly wrap in plastic wrap.
